First of all, realize that no car will handle as well in the snow, but some handle better than others. Front wheel drive or AWD will be extremely helpful, but RWD is quite a challenge. Trucks are actually horrible in the snow, unless you have 4WD or at least some weight in the back. The Z is designed to be very agile in dry conditions, so the designers sacrificed stability for better maneuverability. While the Z performs great on the track, the lack of stability can make it very difficult to control in slippery conditions. The other consideration is salt. If you live somewhere that gets a lot of snow, they probably plow and salt the crap out of the roads, so driving in winter is usually pretty uneventful. The problem with salt is that it causes major rust. If you live somewhere that doesn't know what to do when it snows, I wouldn't even leave the house until it clears up.
